Time flies so quickly...
Time flies so quickly... Just in a blink of an eye, half a year had passed. We are now left with only another half a year. Or less then that, actually. Ask yourself, what have you done in preparation for 1 of your MOST IMPORTANT examination of your life. Why do i say '1 of your MOST IMPORTANT examination of your life'? PSLE, is just 1 of it, why? You always have more examination or challenges in your life, isn't it? PSLE is just 1 of them.
Look back at it, six months before now, we are stil saying that it is still early and we have plenty of time to get prepared. Fine, for that time, it is still 'passable' so say that. But three months before now? Some of you are still also saying that it is still early and we stil have time. But now, can you still say that? Or can you be STILL saying that?
We are now only left with three months. THREE MONTHS!!! IS THIS ALOT OF TIME? NO! Some of you had already woken up from your 'sleeping beauty sleep' which is something good, but are you prepared? By now, you should be already 3/4 prepared. The other 1/4, will be of course your revision, on what have you learnt for this 6 years.
Once you are fully prepared, you are then ready to go on to that battle field. All weapons ready? Mind set correct?
If you are still not ready by now, then you should really WAKE UP! If not you will really regret it...

Compo Draft 2 (The secret passage)
For a moment, no one spoke. There was complete silence. Their imagination were definitely working overtime, John in particular thought back to the story Aunt Mabel told him when they first moved in the her house.
What if Aunt Mabel was not trying to be over protective for once?
“You guys still want to go check what is behind that door? We can’t go any further since it is locked,” John broke the silence with a surprisingly even voice. “So I think we should just stay here and wait to be rescue. I can hardly remember how to get back home from this creepy passage.”
“Are you kidding? We had already come this far and now we can’t continue exploring this secret passage because of this stupid door? I really wonder what is inside that room,” I protested weakly. “There must be something we can use to unlock this door around here”
“That’s right. We had already come this far, so why don’t we just continue exploring? Come on brother, don’t be such a coward, get up and search for something to unlock this door.” Mary chided John.
John gulped and shook his head vigorously. Mary turned to me and said to John, “Alright, since you don’t want to come with us, then you can just stay here while me and Ben go and explore.” Knowing that that was the trick me and Mary used when we want John to come with us to explore, I played along with her.
“Hurry sister! Let’s get searching.” I chirped.
“Fine! I will join both of you…” John finally agreed, involuntarily.
“Yes!” Mary and I cried in triumph as we gave each other a high-five.
We all searched, searched and searched. But still could not find anything to unlock that door.
Finally, a voice full of excitement finally filled the air, “I found it! I found it!” We all turned to John, who was holding to a key on his hand and jumping happily. “I found a key!”
Quickly, he went to the door. We all stared. As John gingerly use the key to unlock that door. Creak! The door opened slowly. “This is so cool! Another cellar in a cellar!” I said cheerfully.
We all walked in slow and evenly. Before we can even look around, we heard whispers coming from a hole. John took a peek. “It is from another room,” He whispered. John tried to listen to what they were saying as he asked me and Mary to keep our volume down.
“This is awesome! I wonder how many rooms are there in here.” Mary cried in triumph, forgetting what John wanted us to keep our volume down.
But unfortunately, she was too loud and that alerted the people next door. “What was that?” A gruff voice questioned. John got me and Mary to squat down and remain silent.
“Maybe just some rats moving about. So where are the drugs I ordered from you?” Another low menacing voice rang.
“They are drug smugglers!” we all exclaimed in unison.
This time round, we were not as lucky, the drug smugglers stumped angrily to the cellar and shouted, “What was that?”
The scary man stood in front of us. Shoulders the width of a dining table. His beard covered half of his face. He gave us a look that could have melted steel.
“Now, now. Three children here. Tie them up!” That scary looking man took a glance at us and got his man to tie us up.
We struggled and tried to break ourselves free. But to no avail. They were just too strong. I gathered all my courage and tried to untie the rope behind my back no matter how tight it was when they were not looking.
After trying it again and again, I was still not able to untie the rope, just when I was about to give up, I saw my siblings also trying their very best to untie the tight ropes, and that gave me the determination to continue. Having the determination to untie the rope, I was finally able to free myself. I stood up cautiously, so that the smugglers will not notice and grabbed a wine bottle from one of the shelf. After seeing that I was able to untie the rope despite how tight it was, the more determined Mary and John was to also free themselves. I gathered all my courage and walked towards the giant with that wine bottle in my hand. When I was just near the giant’s head, I lift my hand up and hit the giant with the wine bottle. The giant’s head bleed profusely and the wine bottle shattered into a million pieces on the floor.
“How dare you hit our leader?” One of the giant’s men growled at me.
“Ben! Don’t fear! Your sister and your brother will protect you.”Mary and John assured me as they grabbed the two sticks which happened to be on the floor beside Mary and John.
They tried to fight against them as i tried to shout for help, hoping that someone heard me. I sat at a corner, hoping not to be spotted and muttered a prayer to myself. Unexpectedly, God answered my prayer! I picked up the cell phone I saw lying on the shelve, and then dialed for the police. One of the giant’s men spotted me and held up a knife. Knowing what was going to happen next, I closed my eyes as the horrible scene, unfold before my eyes.
Before that knife went right into my chest, John came, and blocked me. “Be careful Ben!” John warned. Fresh blood gushed out of his gaping wound. The atmosphere was tense. Extremely tense. That murderer dropped his knife and stared at his other accomplice.
Mary’s eyes were tearing, as if it was all going to over flow. I was totally shocked and tears begin rolling down my rosy cheeks. There was silence for a minute. Then, I dropped to my knees and crawled towards my brother immobile body. Sorrow pierced through my heart as I stood there, motionless, overwhelmed with grief. I was on the verge of tears as I struggled to control them. But a few moments later, I could not control them any longer. It was as if rain gutters had overflowed. Torrents of tears streamed down my pallid face as I kept apologizing to my brother. My heart was wrenching in pain. Finally, I managed to get some words out of my mouth, “ Brother… Brother… Why did you bother saving me? Your life is more important! You always said that I was irritating and was such a pest, and now you are losing your life for me?”
Before John closed his eyes, he said dreadfully, “Because you are my brother…” And that was his last word before he left the world…
I looked back at the man who killed John and was determined to make sure that they were all sent to jail. Mary wept her tears and glared at them as she warned fiercely, “I will make sure all of you pay for my brother’s life!”
I took the cell phone and dialed for the police immediately while Mary took her stick and hit that murderer. Strong enough, she managed to hit him to death. She blocked the smugglers with her stick as a shield to protect both of us.
Sirens were heard in no time. The police came and blocked all the doors so that the smugglers can’t escape in any way. A few of the policemen came in and arrested the smugglers while some at the door tried to arrest those who wanted to escape.
Luckily, all of the smugglers were arrested and was all sent to jail. Aunt Mabel came and questioned us. One question after another. “Look what all of you done! Who suggested exploring this secret passage? Look what did you do to your brother, John? He lost his life just to save that little life of yours, Ben. Didn’t I warn you that these kind of secret rooms are very dangerous as it is mostly used to be used as a drug smuggling meeting point? I want you to promise me not to explore this kind of secret passage again. It will get you into trouble, and both of you will be grounded for a month!” Through out this whole nagging, me and Mary could only blame each other.
John, that brother of mine, will always be my hero in my heart. I can never thank him enough…

Crazy over songs!
Some of you are so seriously over songs! like really popular songs. Replay, pyramid, One time, baby, first dance, one less lonely girl, tik tok, lucky and so on... Anyways thats a few songs i'm somehow crazy over. We can listen to them, but... of course! Don't spend too much time listening to them.
Just a question Kai Lin(Sis) asked me: Why are there always Shawty in songs? Maybe not in all but quite a number of songs. So what on earth is the meaning of Shawty? Just a question Kai Lin(Sis) asked me: Why are there always Shawty in songs? Maybe not in all but quite a number of songs. So what on earth is the meaning of Shawty? Uncountable blessings...
Blessings are uncountable. Really uncountable. Just too much for me to list out. So, i will list out 3 blessings. 3 blessings that i think i'm really blessed.
1)The 1st blessings of all is my parents. They have been there with me no matter what. I'm glad that my parents are still together or still here with me as some other people from maybe the other end of the earth do not have their parents with them. Their parents may had died and some other people's parents maybe divorced. I'm really blessed that my parents are still together.
2)The 2nd blessings of all are my friends. I'm must say that i'm really blessed to have good friends by my side no matter what like: Jovelle, Jia Xuan, Wee Yee and Hui Chainn. You guys are the best! They are there for me no matter what. Especially the friends that hang-out with me, Jovelle and Jia Xuan. They are always together with me through thick and thin. Jovelle, my somehow old friend as i we were friends since P4 when i came to this school. She is very encouraging and caring. A smart girl too:)
As for Jia Xuan, i knew her last year but we were not really close till this year. She always lightened up the atmosphere and is also very encouraging. She might be somehow crazy sometimes. Crazy over Naruto and stuffs. Now left with my 2 new friends that i just knew this year. Though i only knew Hui Chainn this year, i seemed to feel that we were close. Wee Yee is also a new friend i only knew this year, she is very caring and helpful. Really blessed to know her:)
Friends are people that are always here for you no matter what, they will not betray you or do things behind your back. I am really blessed to have such great friends!
3) Last of my blessing, are my teachers. Miss Chia and Mdm Siti. They are caring and nice towards all the students. Though they scold us sometimes, but i know it's all for our own good. Others might not know but i know all these scoldings are treasures and they are all very valueble. Mdm Siti, teaching me since last year has been really nice to all. She explains the sums we don't know till we understand. Miss Chia, teaching us strategies that are really helpful for our exams.
Thank you teachers! Be blessed to have teachers like that!
