During the programme of the from teacher's time this week, we were shown a picture of a snail (seemed to be stationed on its spot). It was looking down from where it was stationed, that might look like a cliff to it.
What I feel about the picture:
The snail seemed to be looking down from the cliff and trying to cross over to the other side. I believe that if it were to cross over and overcome that obstacle, it will need lots of determination and patient to do so. To me, the snail seemed to be looking at what it has to overcome, and planning what to do.
From that, I can connect to life that we, in life, have many obstacles and difficulties to overcome. Every challenge posted to us, are not easy to overcome and succeed doing it as well. It will need a lot of determination, time and hard work in doing so. Just like the PSLE, we have to contribute and put in a lot of effort in accomplishing the tasks we were given. PSLE is just a challenge posted in life. A challenge that helps us to upgrade ourselves after going through it and successfully accomplishing it. There will be more obstacles and difficulties to overcome in the future. Having the right mindset is very important and we'll have to strive towards success and excellence.
The snail is putting in its very best and trying very hard to get to the other side. Who knows? That might just be a better and more comfortable environment that might suit the snail more. There is always an advantage and a disadvantage behind each problem and I believe we will gain something after going through it. There will always be something to learn after everything that happens.
We will all feel a sense of satisfactory after we all succeed. (:
I really love what you have written. Indeed a sensible insight into the snail's emotion if they have any at all. Study and observe the situation and plan what to do...that's so well said! I believe the snail knows that it has only one chance to get over. If it misses a step, it will plunge and lose its life. So it really takes time to plan every detail its action before it gathers courage to take the risk, calculated risk.
ReplyDeleteLike you said, it's worth a try as the grass may be greener on the other side.
