Oral Speech (Picture 5)

Oral Speech (Picture 5)
Picture: Hawker Centre

Theme: Eating at the hawker centre

Introduction:
This picture depicts a scene at the hawker centre. It may be lunch time or dinner time as there are many customer there eating. They seem to be enjoying their self as there is a smile plastered across their faces.

Scenario 1: normal
a lady with a long silky hair is buying chicken rice at the chicken rice stall.

I think the chicken rice seller is doing a good job as the lady looks satisfied.

Scenario 2: Cause and effect
at one of the table, a man carrying a tray of drinks accidentally slipped on a banana skin. It looks like he is going to hit the lady in front and might spill it on her, so that lady held her hands up and blocks her face, in case the drink spill on her.

It must be an inconsiderate person who throw the rubbish on the floor. We should not litter as might cause other people to fall if it's something slippery. We should also keep Singapore Clean and Green.

One of Singapore's NE massage also state that "we must ourselves defend Singapore."

However it's also not completely there person who had done that inconsiderate act, he should also keep a look out of what is in front of him.

Scenario 3: Wrong and Consequence

the Prawn noodle stall does not seem to have customers, and looks like the business is not really good after all.

Most probably it is because of his hygiene. There are many house flies around; I may be because of the dirtiness of the stall. I think he had not cleaned his stall for a long time as it looks dirty and old.

As a Hawker, they should take cautious of hygiene of the stall if not no customer will want to buy food from them.

Scenario 4: normal
a family of three is having their meal at one of the tables. The scene is heart-warming. It’s nice to have dinner together with our family together at hawker centre as the food is delicious and affordable.

All of them look satisfied with the food they ordered as there is a wide smile across their faces. I would also like to have dinner with my family at hawker centre. It is also a great way of bonding.

Conclusion:
in my opinion, I think that hawkers should be extra careful of the hygiene of their stall.
