Picture: Swimming meet
Introduction
This picture depicts a scene at Orchid Primary School Swimming Meet as it is written on the banner. Many students were there to cheer for their houses. There are three judges at the announcer’s table. Two were noting down while the other announces. It looks like the competition is very exciting as all the students got off their seats and cheer.
Scenario 1: Normal
All the spectators seated at the side was cheering with patriotism and was holding on to their houses banner, nicely decorated.
They were so active and enthusiastic. Personally, I think that is how it goes about for cheering. Though they are not a competitor, they can at least do something for their houses to score some points, cheering for their team will motivate the competitors to do better.
Scenario 2: Normal
There are three judges sitting at the announcer’s table, two jotting down the events, and I announcing the winners. They look like they are very busy as they did not even realize that the papers are flying of the table.
I think they are very satisfied with the event as there is a smile plastered across their faces.
Scenario 3: Cause and Effect
The four houses were doing fine in the pool swimming while each teacher takes the timer of a house. Until, the green house swimmer started to struggle in the water. I think that he had a leg cramp and was drowning. If he did his warming up exercises, he won’t have a leg cramp. Therefore, it is very important to do warm-ups before doing any exercise.
The time tracker called for the life guard but he was just too busy talking on his phone that he did not hear what the tracker is telling him.
What he is doing is very dangerous, if the life guard still ignore it, the boy may really drown and die.
While that boy struggles, the rest of the competitors continue to swim and having the desire to win. That shoes their competitive spirit.
Conclusion
Safety always comes 1st in all kinds of sports and exercises. Therefore we have to think about our safety in whatever we do.
